I manage to always pretty much founder on all the crab and shrimp I can possibly hold. We became totally drawn by our 1st visit which was on a Friday night - and we had the seafood buffet. On some weekend nights, it can get very smoky and loud.Ī friend of mine from college and I have been able to meet up in Eugene and go to Three Rivers Casino about 4 times now over the past 5 years. It is big enough to make a worthwhile fun stop, but plan on catching the buffet, or eating in town. The bottom line is this is a small casino. The only thing that made it bearable was the waitress. The other half of the order was a pastrami type sandwich, and I just don't care to go into the details about that because I didn't have to eat it. I had to drown it in mayo just to get it down. For instance, my turkey bacon club sandwich came with exactly two thin slices of chopped, processed and formed turkey looking meat with wilted iceberg lettuce, slimy tomatoes, and fatty, uncooked bacon on pieces of dry, toasted white bread. This would not be so bad, but the food is absolutely horrible and very expensive. It turned out to be a very expensive sit down deli that is made up to look like a bistro, but is really just a sandwich stand. It was so incredibly loud and smoky, we considered leaving and going to Florence for dinner, Then, the attendant motioned over to the back of the bar, and told us they had a cafe away from the bar. However, there was a band playing at the bar. The attendant suggested we eat at the bar.

To make matters worse, this casino does not have a quick burger/hot dog/deli like other casinos. I was surprised that a major casino would close a buffet so early on a weekend night. However, on our most recent visit we arrived at the buffet eight minutes after nine o'clock at night on a Friday night to be told it was closed. The games at the tables are OK, and the slots are OK, We have eaten in the buffet a couple of times, and both times were during major sales, so it was an OK value, but certainly nothing off the charts.
